Mukim Port Dickson

Mukim Port Dickson is the district administrative centre as it is where Bandar Port Dickson is, the prime mover for administrative and economic sectors is situated. The prime activities or economic sources are industrial, business, fisheries and hotel sectors. Petron (was Esso) and Heng Yuan (was Shell) oil refineries are examples of key industrial contributors available within mukim Port Dickson. Hotels located here are the The Legend, Glory Beach Resort, Legacy Hotel, Corus Paradise and Sunshine Bay. The Kota Lukut Fort and Selangor Royal Mausoleum in Lukut Town are a few of the tourism products found in Port Dickson.

Port Dickson is the main gateway for foreign visitors to the state of Negeri Sembilan as there is a passenger ferry port from Indonesia here. Apart from that, the bus and taxi terminal is the main transportation complex connecting Port Dickson with other towns in the whole of Negeri Sembilan including Kuala Lumpur.


Mukim Si Rusa

Mukim Si Rusa is known for its beautiful and sloping Pantai Saujana. The Hotel industry is the key economic sector in this sub-district followed by the government, business, fishery and agricultural sectors. Examples of hotels located here are the Golden Straits Villas (GSV), Avillion Port Dickson, Avillion Admiral Cove, Hotel Seri Malaysia, Bayu Beach Resort, Grand Beach Resort, Seri Bulan Condo, Thistle Port Dickson, and many more. There is also an education centre within this sub-district such as the Port Dickson Polytechnic which offers various types of skill courses at certificate and diploma levels. The main tourism product is the Army Force Museum which is the largest war memorial in Malaysia. The Pantai Telok Kemang is another attraction which adds up to the list of interesting places.


Mukim Pasir Panjang

Mukim Pasir Panjang is where Pasir Panjang town is located, starts from the Polytechnic in Batu 9, Jalan Pantai right up to Ayer Hitam in Pengkalan Kempas. The main economic sectors in this sub-district are from fisheries and agriculture. This is due to the large existence of mangroves which is suitable for fishing and also several oil palm plantations. Apart from that, the hotel sector also contributes towards the economy. Among the resorts located here are the Tg.Biru Condo, Villea PD (formerly PNB Ilham Resort), Eagle Ranch Resort and Port Dickson Sanctuary. Some other tourism products such as Pasir Panjang Recreational Forest, Tanjung Tuan Recreation Forest, Kuala Sungai Linggi and Sungai Sekawang fishermen village are also located within this area.


Mukim Jimah

One of the most popular towns here is Bukit Pelandok. The main economic activities are oil palm plantation, business and fishery. The existence of power plants such as the Jimah Power Plant also contributes to the economy and provides job opportunities to the local residents in this area. The famous tourism product here is the Kelong Memancing Kuala Lukut (Fishing Stakes) which is the main attraction for avid anglers from all around Negeri Sembilan as well as Klang Valley. Chalets, restaurants and baits are also provided. Apart from that, the latest tourism product here is the hot spring situated in the Chin Teck Farm, Bandar Spring Hill.


Mukim Linggi

This is where Linggi town is situated. Agriculture is the largest and main economic sector here. Pengkalan Kempas Historical Complex, which is administered by the Department of Museums Malaysia is the main tourism product here. Apart from that, Sungai Linggi and Pengkalan Kempas Jetty are attractions here which are rich with flora and fauna. You will witness the nature’s beauty while cruising along the Linggi River.
